These instructions have approx. 60 pages – don’t worry: explanatory photos fill a large amount of pages, not just text. Due to step-by step precise explanations these instructions are also suitable for those with little sewing experience.
When I developed these instructions, it was always important for me to find simple and well-proportioned shapes in order to allow the child’s imagination to have the necessary freedom to let its doll come alive.
Again and again I received e-mails with urgent requests for dolls that can wear shoes.
So the feet were also an important feature: to make sure booties would fit snugly and wouldn’t take flight at the first occasion.
Another concern was to enable as many seams on the doll as possible to be sewn with the machine to ensure durability.
1000Rehe dolls can sit upright.
As they have mohair wigs, you can easily add further or longer strands of hair, just in case an overeager dolly mummy has cut off too much.
The instructions show you how to sew a doll on the basis of a 40cm 1000Rehe doll.
Five different patterns are also included: doll 35cm, doll 50cm, toddler with bent limbs 45cm, Baby 60cm, Baby 30cm.
With these instructions, time and patience, you can populate entire doll worlds!
Just pay attention to the differing measurements for circumference of the head, connection point for limbs and amount of fabric required.
The technique is always the same.
